Are these true to size and is the material itchy if you wear them with bare feet?

We haven't received any feedback from customers that the material is itchy and it feels soft to the touch, so should be fine for bare feet. Slightly more people return Mercredy because they are too small rather than too big, so they do come up a little small for some people.
